Now in its 4 th year, the Russian Resurrection Film Festival has taken on a significant role in the cultural calendar of film lovers across the country. It continues to attract significant partnership opportunities, and in 2007 BHP Billiton proudly came on board as Presenting Partner, as a viable and creative way to strengthen its ties with the Russian community. The Festival and Tsuki also welcomed back Stolichnaya Genuine Russian Vodka as our Major Partner, who provided pure Russian revelry for the gala Opening Nights in each capital city, with exquisite Vodka cocktails and shots at the Stolichnaya Lounge.
Media highlights for the festival include features stories in Sydney Morning Herald, Daily Telegraph, The Australian and Financial Review. Russian media, local newspapers, street press, radio and a very strong online and grassroots campaign also successfully spread the word through Sydney , leading to a sold out Opening Night on Thursday 6 th September.
