
Tsuki managed publicity for the grand anniversary celebrations of The 10th Japanese Film Festival. With Tsuki involved ticket sales increased by 200% from the previous year.

For The 10th Anniversary Japanese Film Festival, Tsuki was responsible for managing all publicity and promotional opportunities for Sydney . Publicity for all other states was organised by the Japan Foundation and associated venues.
Media coverage secured by Tsuki was valued in excess of $116,000 with an estimated reach of 700,000 people.
The Japanese Film Festival opened in Sydney on Wednesday 29 November at the Greater Union George Street Cinema. The majority of Sydney sessions were a sell-out success with a total of over 5,000 Japanese film lovers attending the festival. 19 films were screened from 29 November to 8 December. In 2006 ticket sales increased by 200% from the previous year.
Opening Night was a sell out success with dignitaries in attendance including the Consul-General of Japan Mr. Kawada, the internationally respected Japanese documentary filmmaker Mr. Chiba, the Consul-General of China Mr. Qui and the Consul-General of Germany Mr. Gruber. The evening was hosted by the acclaimed media personality and film authority Ms Annette Shun Wah. Key representatives of both the Japanese and mainstream media were in attendance, as well as an equal mix of the Japanese community and general public. Other highlights on the night included mouth watering catering by Azuma (Chifley Plaza) and Colotako (Chinatown) who demonstrated the fine art of cooking Takoyaki - the creation of perfectly bite sized balls of octopus, p lus a spectacular display of Cosplay costumes.
The line-up of films for The 10 th Japanese Film Festival was as impressive as it was diverse, with every taste catered for. Traditional samurai drama, The Samurai I Loved, rubbed shoulders with kooky pop culture in Kamikaze Girls and The Cheerful Gang , while the gory horror of Neighbor No. Thirteen contrast with sweet high school romance in The Stars Collide . Beautiful animation in Glass Rabbit played alongside the kabuki spectacle of Princess Raccoon.
Visiting special guests from Japan included Mr. Sugawara, director of Forget-Me-Not, Ms Sakuma (producer) and Mr. Ueno (cinematographer).
Publicity highlights included feature stories in The Daily Telegraph, Sydney Live and popular arts-based community radio stations such as 2SER 107.3FM and FBi 94.5FM. Fantastic coverage in ‘What's On' sections was secured, including The Sydney Morning Herald Good Weekend, Sunday Telegraph Sunday Magazine and street press such as The Brag and Drum Media . Online coverage was also extensive.
