SYDNEY FILM SCHOOL

Tsuki has managed the publicity for Australia 's leading independent film school Sydney Film School since the beginning of 2007. During this time we have worked with the school raising awareness through their Open Days , Student Film Festivals, and their highly active distribution arm of the school that has successfully placed student films in film festivals around the world.

Highlights to date have included the Student Film Festival held in July 2007, for which the Former Prime Minister of Australia Mr. Paul Keating was invited to address the students as the Key Note Speaker. Tsuki managed the media coverage of the Festival, which resulted in almost every major media outlet across the country and several international outlets reporting on the event.

In May 2007 Ben Ferris, the Executive Director of Sydney Film School travelled to the Cannes Film Festival to screen a selection of student films at the Marche du Film , with Sydney Film School only 1 of 3 international film schools invited to showcase their students' films. Tsuki broke the story in the Sydney Morning Herald , highlighting the proactive support the school pushes for its graduate's careers.

Sydney Film School graduate films have screened at the Cannes Film Festival, Sydney Film Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival, European Independent Film Festival,  Interfilm Berlin Film Festival, Chicago Film Festival, Kyoto International Film Festival and Calgary International Film Festival, Perth Revelation Film Festival and European Independent Film Festival to name a few.

Sydney Film School is Sydney's fastest growing filmmaking community made up of current students, graduates and teachers, working together towards common goals: to learn, to grow, to make good films, to be seen by audiences worldwide. Since the school began in 2004 the school's community has grown to over 400 strong. Producing the largest number of short films in Sydney every year, Sydney Film School generated 88 productions in 2006 alone. Productions included quality documentaries, dramas and individual thesis films exploring all manner of cinematic forms. Since inception, 20 Sydney Film School films have screened in 34 prestigious film festivals locally and abroad with 2 first prizes. In 2007 Sydney Film School screened 6 films in the Cannes Film Festival Market. They are currently in production on 71 films in Semester 2 alone.

The friendly staff at the school are a team of committed and experienced industry professionals, with combined major film credits of 40+ feature films, including Mad Max 2, Radiance, Jilted , and Deck Dogz with awards ranging from the Australian Film Institute, Locarno Film Festival, Kurosawa Film Festival , and the Academy Awards®.

Tsuki is proud to work with Sydney Film School , to maintain their relationship with media and in so doing contribute to sustaining their position as Sydney 's No.1 independent film school. In particular we love their fresh, innovative approach and commitment to the philosophy of ‘courage, curiosity and compassion'.
