Tsuki proudly supported the 2006 Reelife Short Film Festival, a creative project of Vibewire Youth Services. Selling out before its screening date of 14 May 2006, the Dendy Newtown season was extended due to popular demand.

Reelife is not about formulaic short films with a neat twist at the end. It's about providing a platform for young filmmakers to explore ideas they are passionate about.

2006 REELIFE FESTIVAL PLAYS TO FULL HOUSE

Tsuki's passion is to work with creative, talented people on all levels of expertise, whether they are established or up and coming. With this in mind, it was with great pleasure that we signed on as Partners with Vibewire Youth Services Initiative to present the 2006 Reelife Short Film Festival. Coming back from a year's break, Tsuki re-established Reelife's position as the premier festival for emerging young filmmakers between 15 and 25 years of age, selling out the festival before its screening date of 14 May. The Dendy Newtown season was extended due to popular demand, and congratulations go to these talented young people who impressed all with their sophisticated presentation of complex and thought provoking ideas.

Created as a platform for young filmmakers to get their ideas and passions up on the big screen, The 2006 Reelife Short Film Festival is a truly inspirational and supportive event. The talents of 15 diverse finalists from all over the country were highlighted over two big evenings, with films reflecting the theme of "Issues" in remarkable ways. Judges included Mark Fennell (FBi Film Guy) and Khoa Do (Director of soon to be released film Footy Legends starring Peter Phelps and Claudia Karvan), and prizes were enough to make any established working Director lie about their age. Sony HDV camera, $5,000 worth of hire of film equipment from Panavision, and $10,000 worth of hire from Premier Lighting could have been yours!
