QUOTES
"It's hard to pick the highlights as there's not a clinker among these 35 songs: lyrically and musically, they are the epitome of wit and sophistication, switching effortlessly from pin-sharp comedy to elegiac melancholy. Sondheim makes most of what passes for musical theatre these days look like complete rubbish."
7/10 Colin Rose - Sun Herald
"... this is a chance to see five very talented performers, singing lots of very good songs by a guy who writes clever, pithy lyrics and music I guarantee will send you humming all the way home ... brilliant"
Veronica Hannon - SX News
"Pete Nettell's passion for the music of Sondheim is evident in this slickly directed piece. The tight ensemble cast of five all work intrinsically together - radically different ages and types, who compliment each other in a positive fusion."
Claire Fitzgerald - Sydney Stages Online / Melbourne Stages Online
"Putting It Together is made for a town like Sydney.... [the] five actors work well as a team and bring Sondheim's classics to life with great style and aplomb. ... Putting It Together is a fun night out and definitely worth seeing."
Skye Crawford - Broadwayaustralia.com
"More than just an anthology of Sondheim's work this cabaret-style musical is a cleverly put-together performance that will make audiences squirm and laugh with recognition at the follies of love."
Jodie McLeod - Drum Media
