ACTORS COLLEGE OF THEATRE AND TELEVISION

Tsuki actively supports our creative industries on many different levels, and are proud to announce our alignment with the Actors College of Theatre and Television (ACTT) as their dedicated publicity team, actively growing brand awareness for Australia 's leading independent training facility for acting, musical theatre and stage production.

The friendly staff are a team of committed and experienced industry professionals, active in the wider community as Directors, Producers, Writers and Actors. Students at ACTT benefit from such tutors as John O'Hare, Acting Course Director, who has also acted and directed for the Sydney Theatre Company, the Bell Shakespeare Company, Griffin Theatre, and the Queensland Theatre Company, as well as co-founding the Sydney based O'Punksky's Theatre. Gavin Robins, ACTT Head of Movement  currently works with the Sydney Theatre Company and the Bell Shakespeare Company as Movement Director, and  Stephen Helper, who has directed on and off Broadway, at the Sydney Opera House and the Theatre Royal to name a few , are just three  of the exceptionally talented and active tutors ACTT students benefit from.

Students have gone onto securing many diverse acting roles, with notable graduates including Leeana Walsmann ( Love is a Four Letter Word, Jessica, Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, $9.99 (in production – animation starring Anthony LaPaglia, Joel Edgerton and Claudia Karvan), Chris Baker ( Kokoda, Ned Kelly, Changi  ) and Matt Holmes ( Sea Patrol, Blue Heelers).

The College offers a range of nationally accredited and industry endorsed full time and part time courses including the  Advanced Diploma in Stage and Screen Acting,  Certificate III in Theatre and Stage Acting, Certificate IV in Music Theatre , Certificate III in Live Production and Events  and Advanced Diploma in Stage Management .   Short courses in acting, singing and acting for camera are also held each term.

Diploma graduates are also invited to participate in ‘ Actors Showcase' , an annual event which showcases a screening of the final year students' showreel and a performance from the graduating students. Agents and managers in the industry are invited to attend with the intention of signing new talent for representation. In 2006 ACTT had 100% uptake with every graduate accepted by a highly regarded agent and/or manager for representation in the acting industry.

In 2008 ACTT will be one of the first private acting schools to be eligible for FEE HELP, tapping into government financial support for all full time students, and confirming the schools position as one of the countries leading educational facilities.

ACTT is a dynamic organisation specialising in acting, musical theatre and technical production courses. The friendly and welcoming team of teachers are also industry professionals who challenge their students to produce quality work with integrity and clarity, with a proactive focus on creating opportunities through building networks with the professional industry. ACTT has an exceptional reputation as Australia 's best training facility for innovative education and performance guidance, empowering people in the arts, business and life.
