CAUSE FIRST, FILM SECOND: Cyber Sin calls for supporters

January 22nd, 2010 by Joy Leaper.

Cyber Sin is a new, punchy film designed to educate Australian teens and their parents about the effects of cyber bullying - and to make them think hard about the decisions they make. Their campaign, CAUSE FIRST, FILM SECOND is calling upon Facebook supporters to help raise $30,000 by 13 March 2010. Half of this will go toward the final production of Cyber Sin, and $15,000 to be divided to their three suporting charities: Beacon Foundation, Australian Suicide Prevention and ACT for Kids.

Numbers like this really prove the growing mainstream popularity of gaming - perhaps you'll even be one of the millions expected to take a tour of renaissance Italy before the end of March? Oh Ezio!

Q Station welcomes new year with healthy optimism

NYE What's On
Watch Q Station on A Current Affair

Q Station’s Doctors and Nurses themed new year’s eve party got great coverage on A Current Affair, no doubt because of its quirky and cheeky theme and location: the former hospital of the iconic quarantine station in Manly. But it was also a fitting theme to bring in the new year – and the resolutions that typically come hand-in-hand.

According to the US government website titled “Popular New Year’s Resolutions” – four of the top eight are dedicated to becoming healthier: lose weight, get fit, drink less, quit smoking.  There is much to be said for starting the year with such healthy optimism!
