29 Brides, 29 Bikes, 1 Bridge, 1 Movie to promote
November 24th, 2009 by Joy Leaper.
Twenty-nine brides complete in puffy white gowns and veiled helmets roared through Sydney in October, on the back of twenty-nine Harley Davidsons, driven by bearded, leather-studded bikers. The stunt was designed to raise mainstream awareness for the film ‘Marriage of Figaro’, distributed on limited release by the Australian Film Syndicate. Tsuki was engaged to manage the stunt’s media coverage, which featured prime time news coverage on Channels 7 and 9 (including helicopter footage of the bikes crossing the Harbour Bridge). The event spread word of mouth throughout Sydney, as well as a bit of love! Check it out here.
