EDWEANA WENKART, Director, has over fifteen years experience in communication strategy and implementation.
She established Tsuki, a PR, marketing, sponsorship and branded entertainment company, in 2003. Clients range from entertainment (Twentieth Century Fox, Cherub Pictures, All Interactive Entertainment, Madman Cinema) to consumer brands (Pepsi, Sony, Stolichnaya) and companies seeking niche marketing strategies.
In the entertainment PR field, Edweana has worked with Nicole Kidman, Ewan McGregor, Greg Kinnear, Baz Luhrmann, Hugh Jackman, Isabel Lucas and Russell Crowe.
Prior to establishing Tsuki, Edweana was National Film Publicity and Promotions Manager at Becker Entertainment where she managed campaigns for films including A Walk to Remember, Bully, Human Nature, Blurred and Till Human Voices Wake Us. Before that, she worked in feature film production.
Other film credits include Sugar Inc., Dark City, The Matrix, Moulin Rouge and Australia.
Edweana broadened her experience in online marketing and database strategy in her role as Marketing Director at The Coop in Los Angeles on projects for Virgin Mobile and Ford.
Her specialist cross-industry experience means she can tailor practical solutions to meet the specific challenges of the industry.
Edweana is an AGSM, MBA graduate and holds a BA in Japanese and Psychology from the University of Sydney. She is also a Director of BPF, Machealth and the Wenkart Foundation.
SUSAN HOERLEIN, Publicity & Promotions Manager, creates the vibe behind Tsukišs inspired entertainment campaigns. Her sparkling writing skills and ingenious ideas dynamically attunes your message to every target. Combined with her strengths in media identification and relations, the result is always a potency of focus like no other.
After graduating from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications, Susanšs passion for the arts and media drove her through a multitude of experiences from every facet of the entertainment world, from Film Production, to Theatre Publicity, Acting and Media Relations.
Susan strives to explore all aspects of performance and communication, resulting in a practical interpretation of bending the media to her will. Her specialty lies in niche markets that demand attention to detail, and imaginative processes.
In joining Tsuki, Susan has found her true spirit in the world of publicity, successfully refreshing her love of all things creative. Tsuki welcomes her smart, funny and passionate enthusiasm as it bubbles through to the benefit all our clients.
JESSICA DEBOER, Executive Assistant,began her career at Tsuki as an intern while completing her Bachelor of Communications at the University of Technology. Her enthusiasm, passion for PR and attention to detail quickly saw her initiated into the Tsuki family and she was offered the role of Executive Assistant to the Director. Jessica is rapidly moving up the ranks, taking on greater responsibility and developing her skills within the sphere of publicity and promotions.
